What we were up against

The existing store had accumulated years of bloated code, unoptimized images, and a generic template design that communicated nothing about the brand's premium positioning. Mobile conversion was particularly poor at 0.7%, and the average page took 6.2 seconds to load — losing 40% of visitors before they even saw a product.

How we solved it

We rebuilt the store from the ground up using a headless Shopify architecture with Next.js on the frontend, delivering 0.9-second page loads. The new design system was built to communicate luxury at every touchpoint — from the custom typography and spacing system, to the editorial-style product presentation, to the frictionless 2-step checkout we designed.
